The most ambitious part of Mihai Traistariu has always

 been that he tried to help young talents to engage in music.

For this reason, everytime he is invited as a member of the jury at

any music festival competition, he gives a special award, which

was named after him: " Mihai Traistariu " Award . So far,

Mihai has found some very talented young singers,

 which gave the award. Through this award,

Mihai tries to help each of their career, their debut.

Between 2-6 decembrie, 2009, Mihai Traistariu was president

of the jury at the National Festival of music - " Remember " in

Constanta. This is the sixth edition of the festival and fourth

 in which Mihai is the  president of the jury.
The competition is open to young singers between 6 and 20 years old.
On 2-nd and 3-rd of December , there are the rehearsals , on 4-th and 5-th - contest days and on 6-th - the gala of the festival.
" Remember " is the only contest for children in Romania where the competitors sing with a band orchestra .
It' s not easy for a child of 6 or 7 years to play with a band, but romanian children are ... so talented ... and they do it like real professionists !
In the first day of the competition , they the young singers have to play a song from the repertoire of a famous singer, composer and lyricist who is no longer alive.
During the second day of competition they may sing any song, their choice of Romanian and international repertoire!
